Here's My Story.

Traci’s Craziness started in 2023, although opening a shoe business was definitely not part of some carefully mapped-out career plan.

At the time, I couldn’t find a job in my field. I needed something to do, something that was mine, and quite frankly, something to keep me from going crazy. And that’s where the name Traci’s Craziness came from.

I thought selling at fairs, festivals, and local events might be fun. There was only one problem. I am not the artsy-crafty person. I wasn’t going to be making candles, wreaths, tumblers, jewelry, or anything else that required a glue gun and actual artistic ability.

So I started thinking about what I did love, and the answer was simple.

Shoes.

And that became the beginning of Traci’s Craziness. I knew instantly that Corkys Footwear was the brand I wanted to start with because it was already my favorite. I loved Corkys, wore Corkys, and knew how comfortable a pair of their shoes could be. It made sense to start with something I genuinely loved instead of simply looking for brands I thought I could sell.

What began with Corkys and a plan to sell shoes at local fairs and events slowly turned into something much bigger than I expected.

Traci’s Craziness is a small, home-based business in Georgia that carries shoes from multiple brands. You can shop with me online, and my shoes are also available in two marketplaces in Georgia: Hometown Marketplace in Newnan and Double A Discount in Ellaville.

There isn’t a corporate office or a big team somewhere behind the website. I’m the person choosing the shoes, looking at new styles, posting new arrivals, answering questions, helping customers with sizing, packing orders, and getting ridiculously excited when I find something I know my customers are going to love.

I have always loved shoes, and not just because they’re fun or necessary. Shoes have always made me feel good about myself. My clothing size might change, my body might change, and finding clothes I loved could sometimes be frustrating. A great pair of shoes, though, could still make me feel good and put a smile on my face at any size.

I think a lot of women understand that feeling. You can put on a great pair of shoes and instantly feel a little more put together, a little more confident, and maybe a little happier.

Shoes don’t care what size your jeans are or whether you lost the five pounds you said you were going to lose. They’re just fabulous shoes.

And that’s what I want women to find at Traci’s Craziness…the pair that makes you smile when you put them on and immediately start thinking about what you can wear with them.

Of course, sometimes we do things backward around here. We buy the shoes first. Then we figure out the outfit.
